Description/Job Summary

To supervise employees and processes of the assembly area to ensure that all policies and procedures are followed and production objectives are met

Responsibilities/Duties

•Lead staff activities to include documenting and communicating objectives, conducting performance appraisals and appropriately addressing individual and group performance issues
•Evaluate, recommend and implement improvements to materials, equipment, tooling, products and processes
•Daily monitoring and reporting of production goals
•Ensure that all team members are following proper work instructions and procedures
•Coach and develop staff based on cross training and departmental goals
•Maintain QMS training requirements for staff and ensure all required training is up to date
•Maintain area status board(s) with pertinent data related to departmental objectives
•Assist with developing goals and objectives, and measuring outcomes to ensure objectives are met
•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Work effectively with all Stealth departments to exceed internal and external expectations
•Stealth retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

Must have the ability to:
• Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment
• Guide, direct, and motivate staff

Must have:
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills

•Root cause analysis skills preferred
•Ability to read and interpret engineering assembly drawings and Bill of Materials

Required Experience

•At least 3 years of experience in a hands-on manufacturing role
•At least 1 year of experience in a leadership role directing employees and working to meet business objectives

Required Education

•High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Education

•Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or an equivalent field
