Description/Job Summary

To support the supply chain by negotiating costs, lead time, and on-time deliveries with suppliers to source raw materials, components, subassemblies, and labor rates while maintaining performance based metrics for each vendor

Responsibilities/Duties

•Provide sourcing depth for all inventory by identifying and qualifying secondary sources for components
•Maintain and perform supplier qualifications based on performance metrics and continue monitoring the supplier relationship for each vendor through supplier ratings
•Create RFQ’s (requests for quotes) from purchasing for newly sourced materials
•Coordinate with PDM (Product Data Management) to add new vendor information into ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system
•Institute cost saving measures for current and future sources of items to ensure the most efficient and profitable options available are executed
•Provide supplier sourcing information including costs and lead times for in-house vs. outsource design options of new and existing components and subassemblies
•Establish and maintain standardized vendor lead times
•Strategically plan for and manage all interactions with third party organizations that supply goods and/or services to the organization in order to maximize the value of those interactions
•Assist purchasing with the expedition of products from vendors that have surpassed their agreed to lead times
•Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Work effectively with all Stealth departments to exceed internal and external expectations
•Stealth retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Navision

Required Experience

•3 years of experience in purchasing, inventory and/or warehouse management environment
•2 years of Microsoft Navision experience

Preferred Experience

•Current or previous successful employment experience with Stealth
•Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment

Required Education

•High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Education

•Associate’s Degree in a business related field
