Description/Job Summary

To supervise the overall final quality of products assembled/manufactured, receiving of materials used to assemble/manufacture product domestically and investigate quality issues to determine root cause and implement corrective actions

Responsibilities/Duties

•Assist with improving the overall quality management system in relation to 21 CFR 820 Medical Device
•Report findings, possible quality investigations, ongoing duties, and projects and their status and completion to Quality management
•Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to conduct all duties related to, and guide, quality Continuous Improvement projects
•Execute product containment when a non-conformance causes a negative impact on quality of materials, wip and/or finished products
•Maintain a constant presence on the floor to assist with and analyze quality
•Perform risk analysis on the non-conformance of materials, wip and/or finished product to determine impact on production
•Conduct a daily review of nonconforming product and conduct investigations to determine root cause and disposition
•Assist in performing Internal Quality Audits and Supplier Quality Audits
•Procedure development, issuance, and control per the QMS using ISOXpress software application
•Assist team leads as necessary with revising or creating procedures, forms, plans and processes to ensure compliance with Quality Management System (QMS)
•Develop appropriate metrics surrounding the QMS and prepare and present quality information as necessary
•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
•Focus on Lean continuous improvement and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Work effectively with all Stealth departments to exceed internal and external expectations
•Stealth retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

•Read, interpret, and follow instructions, policies, procedures, process guidelines, and blue prints
 
Must have:
•Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
•Excellent mathematical skills to resolve measurement related problems
•Excellent problem solving and analysis skills to analyze data and report on findings
•Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills

•Knowledge of Statistics, Statistical Analysis, Lean, 5S, and Six Sigma

Required Experience

•At least 4 years of experience in a Manufacturing/Quality Assurance environment

Preferred Experience

•Current or previous successful employment experience with Stealth Products
•Experience using tools such as TQM, SPC, Pareto Diagrams

Required Education

•High School Diploma or GED with at least 6 years of experience in an environment supporting manufacturing, technical processes and/or product design OR an Associate’s Degree in Engineering or other technical discipline

Preferred Education

•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other technical discipline
•American Society for Quality (ASQ) certification
