Description/Job Summary

To maintain the highest level of quality of the manufacturing processes and fabrication of parts for the Quality Department
 

Responsibilities/Duties

•Communicate non-conformance issues to Quality Manager, Quality Team Leader and other Engineering teams
•Perform or assist with inspections, final inspections and internal audits of raw material, fabricated materials, assemblies, and capital products with precision measuring tools and gauges, as directed
•Process rejected and non-conforming material, including maintaining non-conformance data in Excel databases
•Assist Production floor with training regarding Quality inspection and documentation methods
•Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers and departmental supervisors in continuous improvement and CAPA activities
•Organize Material Review (MRB) meetings and produce and maintain meeting minutes
•Maintain Quality document requirements via Quality Management System (QMS) in relation to 21 CRF 820
•Improve continuously in all aspects of Quality seeking a higher level of knowledge and self-improvement
•Work with Quality Manager/Quality Engineer in conducting material containment and review
•Assist Quality Manager/Quality Engineer in conducting investigations to determine root cause and disposition of nonconforming material
•Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management
•Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment
•Work effectively with all Stealth departments to exceed internal and external expectations
•Stealth retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

•Read and comprehend work instructions and mechanical drawings
•Use Quality Control measuring equipment
•Use a digital camera


Must have:
•Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel with the expectation of improvement
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Basic mathematical skills

Required Experience

•At least 2 years as a Quality Inspector or in a Quality Assurance environment

Preferred Experience

•Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) optical comparator experience
•Visual and Dimensional inspection experience
•Current or previous successful employment experience with Stealth Products

Required Education

•High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Education

•Associate’s Degree in Manufacturing, Quality or other related technical trade
